THE increasing demand for vehicles I indicated a period of prosperity and expansion in the industry for generations to come, said Mr. Stanley Markland, works director of Leyland Motors, Ltd., and managing director of Albion Motors, Ltd., speaking at the annual meeting of the Leyland Motors Engineering Society.
There was room for the best brains the industry could muster, and for those with ability the rewards were among the highest, he added. The prospects of advancement offered by the industry were as good as, if not better than, in any other he knew.
