GOODS traffic was rising and British Railways had at last begun to turn the corner, said Mr. T. H. Summerson, chairman of the north-eastern board, B.R., last week. He was speaking at the conference of British Travel Agents at Harrogate, and added: "It will, however, take three or four years before the full impact of modernization is felt."
