The Marrel equipment can lift drums up to 8 ft. 6 in, in diameter, 5 ft. wide and weighing 31 tons. A drum may be raised or lowered by the driver from the cab. The lifting beam is divided and pivoted to allow a drum to be turned. At the front of the vehicle is a 5-ton winch for laying or withdrawing cable.
