THE RECORD range of vices produced by this company, comprises 11 types and includes mechanics' and fitters' and engineers' vices, machine vices and a special garage vice known as the No. 75. Claimed to be very popular in the motor industry, this model has 54-in. jaws, an opening of 7in., a pipe jaw capacity of 24in. overall diameter and weighs 511b. Features include a swivel base, offset jaws, a hardenedsteel anvil, pipe grips with a removable hardened-steel front jaw and a pipe-androd bender. Obtainable with a quick-grip or plain-screw mechanism,. the No. 34 engineers' vice is produced in three sizes with jaw widths of 4iin. to 6in. and is particularly recommended for filing and fitting work. Designed for heavy-duty work, the No. 84 quick-grip engineers' vice has a jaw width of 4-lin.

Also included in the range of engineers' vices. No. 112 is a quick-grip or plain-screw model and is available in four sizes in jaw widths of 41in. to 8in., its robust construction making it suitable for chipping, hammering and so on. Known as the Leader vice, No. 14 is also produced as a quick-grip or plain-screw model in two sizes with jaw widths of 4kin. to 61n.
