Ltd., Northampton, and East Kent Road Car Co. Ltd., to run express services between Northampton and Ramsgate and Nottingham and Hastings or Eastbourne (see The Conmenial Motor, February 28) were granted by the East Midland Traffic Commissioners in reserved decisions notified on Wednesday.

The commissioners also granted permission to Provincial Garage (Leicester) Ltd. to operate between Leicester and Ramsgate in the summer months, with the provisos that only one vehicle was to be operated on each departure, the period of operation to he Saturdays only from Whitsun to the end of September and only specific picking-up and settingdown points to be used.

The application by Barton Transport Ltd., of Chilwell, Notts, to run a Saturday service between Stapleford, Notts, and Ramsgate and Margate during the summer months, was refused.
