at Stourbridge, last week, for not ensuring that their drivers kept proper records, the chairman of the magistrates, Capt. W. E. I. Barlow, remarked that the West Midland Licensing Authority's officers seemed to have had " quite a field day."
Six operators who pleaded guilty were each fined £1, with Is. costs, and a seventh, stated to have a previous conviction, was fined £3, with Is. costs. One operator who denied the charge was
fined £1, with similar costs. All the drivers were fined 10s., with Is. costs. E4
