it The European Union is to double the
amount of money it plans to give to combined transport projects to more than £38m across the union over the next five years.
The PACT programme will give cash grants to road/rail and inland waterway projects in a bid to get m trucks off the roads. It has already contributed £130,00( the Piggyback Consortium in the UK to help the project off the ground.
