,COTTISH milk hauliers face the ossible complete elimination f their existing operations in reas where the Scottish Milk larketing Board proposes to Ike over itself.
The ruling of the four-man Dmmittee which heard the two des under the 1958 AgricultuMarketing Act, the first ever istance of arbitration under that ct, is now awaited. The chairian was Kenneth Cameron, QC, to heard evidence against the Ike-over by the hauliers and for by the Board.
Three private hauliers in North rshire are involved, but the cision will have wider implican since other milk hauliers ce the same situation of elimition if and when the Scottish ilk Marketing Board assumes II responsibility for milk ulage.
