Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Commercial vehicle production, at 9,597 units a week during April, was more than one-fifth higher than a year earlier, according to returns Issued by the Ministry of Technology this week. Production for export was up by 38 per cent and that for the home market rose by 12 per cent.

On a seasonally adjusted basis c.v. production was 23 per cent higher in April than in March, with exports showing a slightly greater rise than production for the home market. Nevertheless, total production for the latest three-month period was 5 per cent lower than in the three months November-January. This fall was entirely due to lower home business, exports running at the same level as in the preceding three months.

Retail and Repair wage claim
