• Driver Terry Hull (above left) has improved business margins for his boss Adrian Williams (right) by winning the free use of a Wilcox tipping trailer for the next 12 months.
Williams' Peterboroughbased bulk grain and aggregates haulage business should get a 25-tonne payload on the body which will be used on the East Coast. Hull entered the joint Commercial Motor/Wilcox competition at Truckfest earlier this year, and rues the day he gave up being an owner-driver. 'This would have been a Godsend," he says. However he reckons his boss will make good use of the trailers, which has Rubery Owen-Rockwell axles and air suspension, triple ram central hydraulic tipping gear from Harsh, Bridgestone Tyres and Evertaut covers from Dawbarn.
