I Volkswagen plans to set up a nationwide light CV dealer etwork by the end of this year.
The van centres will offer extended opening hours, imroved parts supply and teams of specialist light CV techniians. VW says: "Van users seem to fall between two stools. tesearch indicates they think car dealers who also sell vans do ot really want to know them, and have not got the expertise o ensure they get the right vehicle for their needs. They ,ften feel like second class citizens with truck dealers, who hey say regard them as the unprofessional end of the market."
