Sudden Atkinson has deli:ed its first five Pegaso Dners to British operators as 1. of its test programme for top specification SpanishIt tractive units.
The first operator to take iivery (on 5 June) was Prince ansport of Avonmouth, Lich uses the 270kW (360hp) -conditioned vehicle on Conental work hauling a curtained trailer. The 4x 2 high)f model appeared at last :ekend's Truckfest Southist show, David Prince says his Ironer averaging around 33.2lit; 100km (8.5mpg). The Troner was supplied by S A Trucks (Bristol), which also supplied a new Ironer on 10 June to TD Williams of Cross Hands in South Wales.
Mel Smith, from Smiths Transport, has taken delivery of a Ironer, supplied on contract hire from Truck 2000. Blackburn-based Smith was supplied with the Troner by Millward Motor Engineers of West Bromwich.
The remaining two Pegaso Troners have gone to Norwich Corrugated of Norwich, and F & N Transport of Grantham.
