BUCKINGHAM VEHICLES has supplied Leicester City Council with a non-hgv 2,727 lit (600 gal) tanker based on a Ford Cargo 0809 chassis cab.
The 4mm thick steel tank incorporates internal baffling and deeply dished flanged ends.
A reverse dish at the rear end accommodates the main jetting hose reel with 100m (328ft) of 20mm (0.75in) high pressure jetting hose.
A pin-driven Myers D35 water pump provides 136 lit!mm (30 gpm) at 95 bar (1,400psi).
The hydrant filling facility is placed on the nearside and a 0.53mm (21in) manhole provides top access.
A full-width steel locker behind the cab provides stowage for equipment and protective clothing.
