JOHN SMALL SHOW, distribution director of Bass Mitchells and Butlers of Birmingham, has won the first National " Carriers Contract Services/CM award for his essay on physical distribution management.
Mr Smallshow received his award of a £600 holiday and inscribed plaque from NCCS managing director Mike Tarrant in London on Tuesday.
The theme of the winning paper was distribution in the next five years.
Mr Smallshow's paper will be featured in a later edition of CM.
