Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

again from one of my yards to another, a distance of a few hundred feet, for repairs and loading on to barges. The tracks are smooth and don't cut the roadway.

I understand that there are some Intricacies of the law which the general public do not know about. Could you help please?

A We are informed by the Department of Environment that, in the circumstances you described, your vehicle can be used.on the intervening roads between your yards. Provided the jib does not exceed 10ft in length, you need not inform the police. If it does exceed 10ft, then the police will require two days' notice of its journey. Despite this ruling from the DoE, it would perhaps be as well to consult your local police authority before you transfer the crane from one yard to another. This answer presupposes that the road which you propose to use is a public road and not one belonging to the Docks Board.
