Pengco Transport Systems offer a range of seven integrated and interchangeable transport systems for demountable bodies of all types called Load-O-Matic. All use ramp lipped guide rails above and parallel to the chassis members, for the roll-on /roll-off standardized body mounting and demounting operation. Range 1 covers vehicles in the 35cwt payload range, such as Bedford CF and Ford Transit. Range 2 covers manual demountable systems for under 3 tons unladen vehicle weight and 3 to 10 tons payloads; Range 3 covers hydraulically operated systems, 3 to 15 tons payload, and Range 4, electro-hydraulic systems, 3 to 15 tons payload — all systems being based on similar standardized equipment. Range 5 covers controlled movement combined air suspension systems for all types of vehicle, drawbar trailers and semi-trailers of 5 to 32 tons gvw. The 16in. controlled movement air suspension systems mounted to the rear axle or axles provide both lifting and lowering movements, with a lift capacity of up to 10 tons per axle. Range 6 covers traders suitable for three weight categories, 10, 13 and 16 tons gvw, and semi-trailers up to 32 tons gross. Air suspension /mounting and demounting systems are standard equipment on Range 6 systems. Range 7 — the latest range of demountable systems — covers multiple body configurations for rigid chassis, drawbar trailers and semitrailers, the suspension, lifting and lowering movements of each being provded by Pengco 16in .-lift air suspension system.
