Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A 32-TON goose-neck semi-trailer has rA been built by Cranes (Dereharn), Ltd., Dereham, Norfolk, for use with the wheeled version of the 'Caterpillar DW.15 tractor. This tractor is normally used for towing earth-moving equipment, which can now be moved from site to site on a semi-trailer by the same prime mover.

The main deck of the semi-trailer is 14 ft. long and 8 ft. wide, and is cut away over the rear tyres to reduce the laden height to 3 ft. 3 in. The length from the king-pin centre to the rear of the semi-trailer is 28 ft. 3 in. and from the goose neck to the rear, 21 ft. 2 in.

Eight 9.00 x 20-in. tyres are mounted in twin formation on 6.00 x 20-in, offset wheels. The Crane tandem rocking-beam suspension system allows for pivoting on a cross-shaft at the rear. When turning, the arch of the welded goose neck gives the necessary clearance above the large tyres on the rear of the tractor.
