FRE introduction of its new charges schedule has been deferred by 'ickfords New Furniture Carriage ;ervice. This has been done to enable n accountant appointed by the British :urniture Manufacturers' Federated ssociations to consider the figures !port which the schedule is based. The aquiry will be confined to a consideraion of operating costs and the elationship between full-load and partaad rates.
The object of this consideration will ic to enable B.F.M.F.A. to reach greement with the Road Haulage :xecutive, but failing agreement before kugust I, the schedule will be introluced with such modifications, if any, s the R.H.E, thinks fit. Moreover, the iew rates, when introduced, will be etrospective to July 1.
