May 7t) Otalted 0,942.000, making an aggregate 'of 'f28,523,000 for the first 20 weeks of the year. State-owned provincial passenger transport undertakings made £3,236,000 in May, bringing their aggregate 'receipts to £14,332,000.

London Transport's May receipts amounted to L4,699,1:100 and its 20-week aggregate to over £22m. All these totals are higher than the corresponding figures for 1950.
