Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

As well as the MAC, we also got a good look around a slightly more conventional crash tender, based on a Mercedes-Benz Actros 3358 6x6 chassis, one of 17 destined for Nigeria. Aimed at slightly less demanding, or rather less well-off, clientele, it still carries a price tag on the wrong side of a third of a million pounds. Having said that, Africa is reported to be a growth market, largely financed by mineral sales.

The Actros is slightly less able than the MAC in some ways, so there’s more of a bump when it drives through the threshold fence. Sadly, it being a new customer vehicle, we weren’t able to drive the Actros, but we were able to appreciate the modular construction of the fire-fighting kit. Various sections, such as the pump system, are built in the UK and sent to the Netherlands to be dropped straight into the bodywork.
