LE JONES Hauliers has been granted permission to base ive vehicles and six trailers at Denbigh Road in Ruthin, Denbighshire.

Rhys Roberts, director of LE Jones Hauliers, says the application is the result of his purchase of the cattle transport operation of the LE Jones Group.

The livestock arm of the haulier, carrying lambs, sheep and pigs, was set up more than 25 years ago.

It has previously been run by Trefor Jones and operated under the LE Jones International banner.

Rhys Roberts, director of LE Jones Hauliers, says: “I believe livestock transportation will be a growth area in North Wales over the next few years.

“LE Jones Hauliers will continue to be based in the same yard as the rest of the LE Jones Group.” The directors at LE Jones Hauliers will be Roberts and Cerian Llwyd, with Christopher Grandidge as transport manager.

A condition relating to inancial standing will also be attached to the licence.
