Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Renault Trucks' show stopper is 13 years old and despite regular revamps has essentially kept its appearance intact. The original flatfloor cab has stern competition from MAN and Mercedes-Benz in this category but while the others have more internal height. Magnum maintains a bigger volume with better ergonomics.

Under the floor is the Mack E-Tech 12.1-litre charge-cooled engine with a choice of 400, 440 and 480hp and plenty of torque to call on. It will be replaced by Volvo power this year. ZF manual gearboxes are available as standard as well asthe option of the Optidriver semi-auto box.

Due to the lack of sales in the UK— less than 150 a year—cab options are limited to one standard for all. Warranty is different to many other manutac

turers in that it has one year unlimited but the second 12 months is driveline only. Residuals are one of the strongest in the industry, by far superior to any other Renault product. Driver appeal and comfort Strong residuals Unorthodox cab entry Lack of options VERDICT Regular updates have kept it contemporary but it's been matched by the Germans and with better warranties
