Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Although the basic XF95 cab has been around a long time its Space Cab and Super Space Cab have always scored well with both drivers and operators due to their excellent storage space and comfort. Likewise, its long-serving XE 12.6-litre engine (available at 430, 480 and 530hp) is relatively uncomplicated and fuel efficient, while the AS-Ironic box is now an auto alternative to the standard 16-speed Ecosplit. However, the XF95 is not the lightest 'big cab' on the market and recently-arrived new products from Scania and Mercedes are sure to catch the eye of undecided buyers.

But for Euro-4 in October! gels a brand-new 13litre MX engine, complete with SCR, which is likely to be backed up with some further tweaks to the cab, inside and out. Chassis choice is pretty much the same aswith the 0F85 but with the addition of a FTS 6x2 twin tyred tag and a low-deck version for Continental hauliers who want la stay within the 4m height limit.

Decent flagship tractor with proven track record Dal dealer nelwork/Dalaid back-up Losing out to more modern rivals Not the lightest chassis around VERDICT Despite its' age, XF95 has a lot going for ii — although newer rivals may ultimately have more driver appeal
