Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Accounting for over 15,000 registrations per year the UK tractor market has been a very strong perforrner, though there have been recent signs of a cooling of demand. That's not to say it's any less competitive and buyers can enjoy a plethora of products to choose from and some very attractive deals.

The market has traditionally been led by Daf, Volvo and Scania. though following a revamp of the Actros a couple of years ago and targeted marketing of the Axor, Mercedes has been resurgent and is now challenging [or number two spot in the rankings. Iveco has struggled in tractors — at one stage it looked as if the Italian builder had virtually given up selling them in the UK — but, with directives from headquarters in Italy to improve its position, we'd expect Iveco dealers to be keener to get your tractor business in 2005.

New tractor products hitting the market in 2005 are the revamped Mercedes A xor and a revision of the Renault Magnum. We don't expect huge changes to the Magnum cab, the main changes will be to the driveline with the arrival of a Volvo group engine rated at 440 and 480hp.
