Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The long-awaited and much maligned P-Series from Scania is the standard option on the tipper range. You aren't limited to engine specification either, as you can have the nine-litre producing 230,270 and 310hp for the 6x4, with the 11-litre and 12-litre options on the 8x4.

The biggest improvement though comes with the new extended day cab. Scania, like others who produce the day cab, have always gone for a tight no storage, no recline version — both issues have been addressed with the new style day cab with an extra 280mm of space from screen to rear cab wall. However, we are not convinced it has addressed the seating and problems involving the left leg against the engine hump.

Tippers can also have the option of the R-Series cab or even the T-Series bonneted version but the P-Series is the pick of the bunch.

Sca• nia name name name Bigger day cab should improve driver comfort • Is only a revamp • Four-series will be cheaper VERDICT If you're already a Scania fan the P Series won't deter you, but Scania's revamp has brought nothing to attract fresh fans
