Like the 3.5-tonner, the Canter 75 is sold through parent company DaimlerChrysler and the popularityof the range is growing, albeitslowly and in niche areas of the market. The 7.5-tonner is powered by a 3.9-litre fourcylinder engine in one 141hp rating. The usual range of day and crew cab versions are available atop lightweight chassis.
In common with !sum the Canter's Japanese origins manifest themselves in easy to drive and manoeuvrable packages, though the cab's too cramped and the seats too flimsy for long distance use.

the Atego range in the M-B line-up with ils urban intentions and lighter weight chassis appealing to a different sector of the market.
