With a new design and modern engine range the Isuzu has raised the stakes in the popular 4x4 category.
Blending contemporary styling, excellent road manners and real world off-road performance the Rodeo is a CMfavourite and the twin-cab version offers excellent practicality. Roomy enough to fit five it's a decent blend of load lugger and people carrier. Traditional pickup traits such as bouncy ride and poor wet weather handling have also been eradicated.
Throw in a gutsy yet smooth 3.0-litre engine (a 2.5-litre is also available) and you have a well rounded package — seems a shame to get it dirty.
