As we were preparing this issue, Citroen issued a press release proclaiming the C15's 20th birthday. That fact encompasses the C15 story. Based on the long-departed Visa car, it is the longest-serving product on the UK market, but continues to sell steadily, helped by pricing that starts below five grand. but with Citroen's standard warranty of up to three years.

Versions are available with nominal gross payloads of 600 or 765kg, and there is also a platform cab for specialist body-building. The driving experience is still acceptable. but our experiences on the road indicate it has only Iwo speeds, stationary or flat out. By definition, the interior is dated, but it is still capable of doing a job of work for the less fashion-conscious operator.
