Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

It may nol be the most competitive load carrier in the class but the Astravan still has something to offer. Probably the last of the breed when it comes to traditional car derived vans, it's based on the Astra car. Sitting somewhere between the Corsa van and high-roof Combo, it has a useful 1.6rif load volume and a payload of 525kg.

What works in its favour is the high standard of build-quality and a range of modern diesel engines that provides plenty of go, coupled with tidy handling and an inviting cabin. Fuel economy is average for the class.

A restricted supply while production transferred to Poland has now been overcome. Load length is 1.700mm. load height is 886mm, load width is 1 .370mm and fuel consumption comes in al a midrange 48.7mpg.

Build quality Performance, handling Uncompetitive load area Slightly pricy

VERDICT

Still has a role to play, but looking increasingly compromised by modern high-cubed alternatives
