AN application by the Taunton Excavating and Plant Hire Co., Ltd., for an extension of B licence conditions for the haulage of quarry and excavating materials, was granted by the Western Licensing Authority at Taunton.
The reason for the application, it was stated, was that the business had increased from a £4,000 turnover in 1955 to the present £30,000.
