Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Volvo has broken into Ford's car transporter fleet for the first time with the delivery of 40 FM12 drawbar outfits supplied by Dawsonrentals. The specially-adapted 3.8m wheelbase prime movers have a lowered and stiffened chassis and a special factory-fitted flat roof which has been lowered by around 125mm to provide adequate clearance. Volvo has also fitted an eight-tonne front axle to

cope with the higher loads. All the FM125 have 390hp engines and Volvo's new two-pedal I-Shift auto transmissions.

Gosfield, Essex-based Transport Engineering built the "Plus 12" bodywork and triaxle trailers which will be used to carry Fiesta, Mondeo, Focus and Transit models from Ford's Dagenham plant to dealerships throughout the Midlands and the South.

Under the five-year lease deal Volvo distributor MC Truck & Bus will provide overnight servicing and contract maintenance from its West Thurrock site while nearby Trans Technik will maintain the Plus 12 superstructures.

The FM12 car transporter package is available from the factory "ready to go". According to the company: "All the bodybuilder has to do is bolt the body on."
