• Iveco Ford has launched the first stage of a new pan-European roadside rescue scheme called Assistance Non-Stop.
Drivers of vehicles in the scheme who have problems in France and the Benelux countries can use a toll-free number to contact English-speaking operators who will organise whatever back-up is
necessary through the Iveco network, Work will be billed in sterling via local dealers.
The scheme is run by National Breakdown from its Strasbourg control centre. Coverage will be extended to Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Finland, Norway and Sweden by the spring and the rest of Europe by the end of the year.
