A combination of alkalinity, wetting power and high density are said to make Impco No.285 Solv suitable for all types of degreasing application. • This product has just been put on the market by Impco (Southall) Ltd. and it can be applied by spray or by using wipe or soak methods. A particular application quoted by the makers is spray degreasing of automobile parts and industrial equipment. It can also be used for cleaning polyester resins from impregnated components.
