WE regret to record the death of MR. PHILIP FOTHERGILL and MR. FRED WOOD.
Joint treasurer of the Liberal Party and architect of their transport policy. Mr. Fothergill had been Scottish Deputy Transport Commissioner during the war. He was 52.
Mr. Wood was managing director of the Yorkshire Engineering and Welding Co.. Ltd. He was at one time works manager and a director of W. P. Butterfield. Ltd. He was 68
