THE application by Charles Alexander and Partners (Transport), Ltd., Aberdeen, for four articulated outfits as collection and delivery vehicles on fish haulage, was partially successful last week (The Commercial Motor. January 30). The company wanted the vehicles on B licence.
Mr. Alex Robertson, Scottish Deputy Licensing Authority, said he understood five trunk vehicles would be used daily. and he realized the necessity of specs' in fish transport. However, the grant would be limited to two vehicles restricted to collection and delivery of fish from trunk vehicles.
