Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I-1 A PLASTICS van body made entirely from glass-fibre, in conjunction with polyester resins, has been produced by Samlesbury Engineering, Ltd., Samles

bury, Lancs. The need for metal or timber framework is avoided by bolting together prefabricated, Hanged resin panels which are reinforced with semicircular, glass-fibre ribs bonded on to the panels during moulding.

Two basic types of panel section are used, one for the sides and one for the roof. The side panels measure 6 ft. 10 in. by 2 ft. 6 in. and the roof panels 7 ft. 6 in. by 2 ft. 6 in. Each is flanged on all four edges and the body is built up by joining together the flanges of adjacent panels

with small nuts and bolts. Any number of panels can be assembled to suit any length of chassis. The entire structure is secured to the floor by 14-in, square light-alloy angles.

The rear doors, which are interchangeable, are constructed from glass-fibre, reinforced with wooden strips to enable the locking mechanism and other fitments
