Q IX times Mr. Jack Nicholson. Sedbergh, has asked the Northern Licensing Authority to increase his B-licence radius, and six times he has met with refusal. His last application was heard at Kendal, last week. when he produced supporting letters from local customers together with a witness from one concern.
Mr . J. A. T. Hanlon, Northern Licensing Authority, rejected the application again after hearing six road objectors and British Railways. It was clear, he said, that there was no need for the extension.
