I. Keith, revolved 'about the -question whether McGill's, in addition to Western S.M.T. Co.. Ltd., One of the respondents, should be allowed to run to the estate.

Mr. J. Kirkland, for McGill's, said that Western S.M.T. had-made no mOye to serve the new estate until McGill's had applied for alicence; which was refused because the route was Unsuit

able. The appellant then proposed another route, which was not served at present, which did not affect existing services and terminated at a point approved, by the local authority. This, too, was rejected, although there was ample room for the two services to Nethercraigs.

Recommending the dismissal of the appeal, the inspector said• the two services would produce unnecessary competition.
