Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

fleet engineers to know the status of companies which supply equipment to our industry.

I refer in particular to a write-up published in one of the trade magazines on a piece of computer equipment. As recently as November 1 we have been informed that the company concerned has had so many writs issued against it that there was no possibility of collecting any overdue debts and that it was unlikely that they would be in business for much longer.

What is a loss to ourselves is much more dangerous to the fleet engineer if stuck with equipment that cannot be serviced. It is both hi-tech and complicated and demands regular servicing. On-board computers are not something which fleet engineers are familiar with and at approximately 1,600 fitted it could be an expensive exercise.

Just an early warning to stop and check the status of corn

panics would save many thousands of pounds to the industry.
