Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Tor Coatings of Birtley, County Durham (091410 6611) has launched a dye called the Fuel Identifier.

It can be added to either petrol or diesel storage tanks to indicate the source of fuel.

The Fuel Identifier is sold in 50m1 bottles — enough to treat more than 2,000 litres of fuel — although larger bottles are available on request.

Tor claims its dye does not require any safety precautions or special clothing, and does not have any detrimental effect on tanks, pumps or vehicle performance. Fuel Identifier is available in three colours — green, blue or yellow — and is subject to a special launch offer until March 1987.
