• Central Trailer Rental of Bromley, Kent has opened a new depot in Venlo, Holland. The site, at Celsiusweg 16, 5971 PH, Venlo-Grubbenvorst (010-31 077 870808), includes 9,0000 of hard-standing for trucks and also has facilities for drivers collecting and delivering vehicles.

CTR says the move reflects the importance of Venlo as a major transportation crossroads between Germany, Bel

gium and Holland. Around 70% of all fresh produce leaving Holland moves via Venlo, and the new CTR depot will be close to a rail and container terminal currently being built in the area.
