Ronald Jackson • An appeal by a Staffordshire operator against a refusal of a licence on grounds of repute has been dismissed by the Transport Tribunal for want of prosecution.
Swiftblack, trading as Moreland Blast Cleaning Services, of Leek, had applied for a licence of four vehicles and trailers. The application was refused by West Midland Licensing Authority Ronald Jackson, after he held the requirement to be of good repute was not met because of convictions for unauthorised use and excise licence offences.
