• Grocery distribution specialists Lowfield Distribution has been awarded the contract to handle distribution of 0.75 million cases a year of Twining's range of teas and coffees, Twining's management services manager, Geoff liglow, said the company was having problems in providing a sufficiently high service level UKwide with its own transport.
But now we will be able to supply the whole country from a single stockholding location using Lowfield's trunking network," he continued.
Twining's entire stock will be held at Lowfield's Radlett distribution centre and called off on a daily basis for distribution throughout England and Wales.
