Swiftblack Ltd (Moorland Blast Cleaning Services of Leek)
NI An appeal by a Staffordshire operator against a refusal of a licence on grounds of repute has been dismissed by the Transport Tribunal for want of prosecution.
Swiftblack Ltd, trading as Moorland Blast Cleaning Services of Leek, had applied for a licence for four vehicles and trailers. The application was refused by West Midland LA Ronald Jackson, after he held the requirement to be of good repute was not met because of convictions for unauthorised use and excise licence offences.
