Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SCOTLAND: M8. There is a twoway traffic flow on the eastbound carriageway at St James Interchange, Paisley.

Northern England: M6 (Cumbria). Carriageway closures are in operation at Lowther Bridge, south of junction 40 (A66 Pen rith exit). Overtaking is not allowed and a 50mph speed limit is in force. Drivers are urged to take extra care.

Midlands: Ml. The outside lane on both carriageways is closed between Watford Gap and junction 18 (the A427 Rugby turn off).

M6. Between junction 1 (A426 to Rugby) and junction 2 (A46 Coventry East/M69) there are lane closures on the north and southbound carriageway. Delays can be expected.

Wales and the West: M5. Several lane closures are in operation on both carriageways between junction 21 (Weston Super Mare) and junction 27 (the Tiverton exit).

Penzance. Rebuilding of the Ross Swing Bridge will continue until April and drivers are urged to use the Market Jew Street route as an alternative.

South-east England: M4. At the Membury service area, the restaurant on the London-bound carriageway is closed until May of next year. All other facilities are still available, however, and the footbridge can be used to reach the restaurant on t) westbound side.

M26. This new road, linkin the M20 and the M25 betwee Wrotham and Dunton Gree (Sevenoaks) has now bee opened. But drivers are warne that there are no sliproac westbound until the Godston exit and, in addition, th Sevenoaks interchang (M25)M26/A21) is a restricte access junction. It is not possibl to join the M26 to travE eastbound from the A21, nor ca traffic leave the M26 whe travelling west to join the A21.

A21. Reconstruction work o the Rowley Lane flyover on th Barnet by-pass will mean o( casional closures of one or bot carriageways between now an March, mostly at weekends.

A2. There are extensive delay on both carriageways near tli Dartford Tunnel/Swanley (M2! exit of the motorway due to n pair works. Delays will continu until December 22,

Ireland. Major roadworks Bachelor's Walk, Dublin, hay started and will result in dive sions until next May. At lea! one lane of traffic is in operatio at all times at Bachelor's Wal and Ormond Quay, and the no mal direction of traffic flow ha been reversed on Liffey Stref Lower.
