A PRIVATE MEMBER'S Bill dealing with the forgery, carriage and production of licences, permits, authorizations and other documents relating to the international carriage of goods by road, received a formal first reading in the Commons last week.
The measure, sponsored by Mr William Hannling (Labour, Woolwich West) is due to be debated on January 24, but it is low down on the list of Private Members' Bills and is not expected to become law.
