Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A significant order received by Bristol Commercial Vehicles Ltd. is one from Stockport Corporation Transport for 10 Bristol VRT/SL 16ft 21n. wheelbase chassis. They will be fitted with double-deck bodies by East Lancs Coach Builders Ltd. and are due for delivery in 1969.

This order marks a further success in the municipal market for Bristol, since the company became free to sell in the open market in 1966. The Bristol RE chassis has already become an established model in the municipal sector and the Stockport order is the second from a municipal operator for the new rear-engined double-decker.

Stockport's new Bristols will join an allLeyland fleet and it is interesting in this connection to note that the specification includes Gardner 6LX engines. However, by the time the buses are delivered the Stockport undertaking will probably have been swallowed up by the proposed SELNEC PTA.
