Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IN You rightly mock the extended payments a major haulage company promised to its subcontractors in your editorial (CM 23-29 June). How, then, can you swallow the AWD press release and report it without comment?

To anyone who knows the first thing about multi-million-pound truck sales, deals such as those announced by the liquidator cannot have been reached "ab initio" since the liquidation. The liquidators must be bristling with rage.

I should like to see you championing the cause of a complete ban on the use of the proceeds of liquidation in the same business, especially by the same people, until creditors have been paid off. Frank Maycock, Haydock Commercials, Merseyside.
