• The next generation of SEAT's Ibiza range, which is due to make its appearance next summer, is expected to include car-derived vans.
The new models have been designed by SEAT's technical centre at Martorell, near Barcelona. They will feature a new floor pan and body styling package. SEAT is believed to have raised and squared off the roofline from behind the B-post, which will bring them into direct competition with vehicles such as Ford's boxy Courier or the Citroen C25.
Likely engine choices will include Volkeswagen's wellproven 1.9-litre diesel and 1.6litre petrol units.
