EARER bus travel in Edinburgh mt — is on the cards before the — with fares rising by nearly 10 per end of this month.

These are two of the measures under consideration to meet the budget reductions of nearly f12m sought by Scottish Secretary George Younger.

The fare increases and pensioners' fares would raise nearly £2.5m towards the new budget figures.
